R. Kurtz (Kurt)
Holloway was admitted to practice in 1977 in Pennsylvania and later
in the Eastern District Federal Court of Pennsylvania. Mr.
Holloway’s areas of concentration are real estate, municipal law,
wills, estate planning and administration, business law and
commercial transactions.
In his over 30 years
of real estate practice, Mr. Holloway has represented hundreds of
buyers, sellers, developers, commercial landlords and commercial
tenants in matters ranging from closings and documentation to more
complex, multi-lot development, land use approvals and tax deferred
1031 exchanges.
Mr. Holloway’s municipal law
experience includes many areas of practice such as land use,
contracts including public contracts, employment and labor law and
constitutional law. A knowledge of various state and local
municipal codes is required. He currently serves as solicitor to
Lower Pottsgrove Township, Pottstown Zoning Hearing Board, Upper
Moreland Civil Service Commission and Upper Montgomery Joint
Authority.
The field of estate planning, wills
and estate administration is every-changing due to the constant
change of tax laws. Mr. Holloway has advised hundreds of clients
regarding estate planning and the administration of estates and
trusts.
Over the years, Mr. Holloway has
advises scores of small business clients on all aspects of their
business and personal legal issues. Either Mr. Holloway or his
associates can advise these clients on a wide range of legal issues
including expansion, asset acquisition, employee issues and
dissolution.
Mr. Holloway has been actively
involved in the Montgomery County area for over 30 years by serving
as a Lower Pottsgrove Township Commissioner, Lower Pottsgrove
Township Authority member, Pottstown Metropolitan Regional Planning
Commission member and as board member on numerous charitable
organizations such as the Pottstown Public Library, The Child
Development Foundation, and Helping Hands, Inc..
