R. Kurtz (Kurt) Holloway was admitted to practice in 1977 in Pennsylvania and later in the Eastern District Federal Court of Pennsylvania. Mr. Holloway’s Areas of concentration are Real Estate, Municipal Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Personal Planning, Business Law and Commercial Transactions.

During his 30 plus years of Real Estate practice, Mr. Holloway has represented hundreds of buyers, sellers, developers, commercial landlords and commercial tenants in matters ranging from closings and documentation to more complex, multi-lot development, land use approvals and tax deferred 1031 exchanges.

Mr. Holloway’s Municipal Law experience includes many areas of practice such as Land use, Contracts, including Public Contracts, Employment Law and Constitutional Law. A Knowledge of Numerous State and Local Municipal Codes are important in this field. He currently serves as Solicitor to Lower Pottsgrove Township, Pottstown Zoning Hearing Board, Upper Moreland Civil Service Commission and Upper Montgomery Joint Authority.

Informing and advising clients about Estate planning and financial issues is a very important and personal part of Mr. Holloway’s practice. Understanding a client’s personal and financial circumstances is instrumental when advising on wills, trusts, estate and gift taxes, powers of attorney and medical powers of attorney. He stresses that clients consider all of their personal and financial goals in light of their current circumstances in order to create their plan.

Mr. Holloway recognizes that clients who are tasked with administering an estate want the job to be as easy, quick and affordable as possible. He shares that goal, but never at the expense of assuring that his client has diligently met his fiduciary obligations. Mr. Holloway’s personal experience serving as Executor to Estates and Trustee to Trusts gives him the “Client’s” perspective.

Over the years, Mr. Holloway has advised scores of small business clients on all aspects of their business and personal legal issues. Mr. Holloway is available to advise these clients on a wide range of legal issues including expansion, asset acquisition, employee issues and dissolution.

Mr. Holloway has been actively involved in the Montgomery County area for over 30 years by serving on the following boards: Lower Pottsgrove Township Board of Commissioners, Lower Pottsgrove Township Authority, Pottstown Metropolitan Regional Planning Commission and as board member on numerous charitable organizations such as the Child Development Foundation, Pottstown Public Library, Helping Hands Inc. and Church Boards, including the Endowment Committee.
